My Cornwall
where the land meets the sea
The amazing pictures are the result of over a years work putting together a folio that really encompasses the very essence and spirit of the unique area that we are so fortunate to live in. This was only possible by many years of observing and then capturing every aspect of this diverse and sometimes bizarre community in West Cornwall.
The extrordinary range of colours and textures that can be seen in the photographs have been achieved by taking advantage of the very best conditions found after going back to locations time after time. This often meant getting up very early, going to bed very late or even staying out all night.
This is the first collection of work from Liam since returning home from abroad and his admiration and devotion to the landscape is ever visible in the pictures.
The collection covers the rugged and sometimes harsh, but always beautiful scenery of this area where the land meets the sea and shows glimpses of its industries and produce both past and present, and also explores a little of the social impact with some striking portraits of a few local faces in some breath-taking surrounds.
"Many thanks to all that helped throughout the project, especially the poseurs."
All images are available for sale in various formats by personal request only. Please see contact details.
This project is dedicated to Jack and Tess who loved these places.
